Album Description: This album is very different from her first 2 albums Let Go (2002)
Under My Skin (2004). This album is fast, energetic, danceable songs. Avril's age is 22
becoming more mature but this album isn't half as mature as her Under My Skin. Almost
of the songs here are really playful. The thing that surprise you is her husband Deryck
from the band Sum 41 produced this album. He played guitar and bass to the 2 songs while
Stevo 32 also played drums. Blink 182/+44's Travis Barker had also played drums in this
Butch Walker who helps her in Under My Skin also contributed as well as Dr. Luke and a
of professional people. If you're so emo and addictive to her past albums
Go and Under My Skin, you won't appreciate this album much, you will only like the songs
OF THOSE GIRLS, WHEN YOU'RE GONE, INNOCENCE, I WILL BE and KEEP HOLDING ON. Avril said
the interview that she had already over her emo phase, she's now in her fun phase to
her happy, and that's why THE BEST DAMN THING has born!!!
