The key to this song is in the hammered -on riff shown in the intro.
This riff carries on throughout large sections of the song.
Although the 1st and 5th strings don't actually need to be sounded
I still find it easier to form the full chord as anchorage,
and it feels stronger to me when adding the extra hammered-on notes.
I play the chord using the middle finger on the 5th string, the ring
finger on the 6th string and the little finger on the 1st string.
Then hammer-on the notes on the 2nd and 4th strings using the index
and middle fingers.
