As you'll notice in the original song, the chords switch with every beat in the bar, so there'll be some fairly
fast chord changes, but the chords themselves aren't that advanced. One thing to be mindful about during the
, verses and interludes are the "->" thingy. These are actually SINGLE notes, not chords. This is an
important part of the original song and much of the feeling of the song will be lost without it. They occupy the
last four 1/16th notes of the bar. I like to play the notes like this when fingerpicking: , , , , and then
back to the chord. You CAN strum past them, but like I said, personally I think some of the soul in the song
is lost.
